Months back I came across the Cicerone program, which is like a Sommelier for beer. While I don’t have any practical or professional need for such a thing it sounded interesting and I thought it would be good for bragging rights if nothing else. So when they offered a discount for their introductory Certified Beer Server certification to celebrate their 10,000th certification I did some studying and took the test. You get two chances to pass but I managed to squeak by on my first attempt. Stephanie took the test as well and also passed on her first attempt. We’re considering studying for the next level of certification this Summer.
