It’s been five months since I created the @beerselfie Instagram account. There have been almost 1500 beer selfies reposted in that time. I thought I would take a look back and find the ten beer selfies with the most Likes:
There’s something about those photos…I just can’t place it. Sure, they’re all great photos of people enjoying great craft beer, but so are most of the photos on @beerselfie. Ah, I think I’ve figured it out, all but one of them are photos of beautiful women. Turns out @beerselfie followers are a bunch of pervs. Maybe that comes with the territory of the intersection of selfies and beer. Oh well, I guess there’s something for everyone on @beerselfie.
Shout out to @colvinology for being the only dude in the top 10, and to @deathcabformary and @daianneisac for having two photos in the top 10 each.
Big fan off the beer selfies, the beauties are top notch and all but it’s really about the #cheers with friends and followers who love great beer. Not sure if you’d climb on board for this but a decent sized group of us have been sharing beer selfies for awhile. We call them #belfies. Yes previously known as ass pics but we’re trying to change the definition into something more worthwhile than people taking pictures of their own fat asses.
